Materials from which contact lenses are made

So I wear contacts and my usual go to lenses are by coopervision (bioinfinity), which uses comfilcon a and has a good Oxygen permeability, which I can feel bc there are no headaches or any discomfort or redness after long wear. I used to wear B&L but their highest quality consumer contact lenses are probably purevision 2 HD using balafilcon A, that is, at a similar cost and availability. Even though I like my contacts, I feel like I don't have enough knowledge on contact lenses to actually choose for myself as my optometrist advised me to try them and judge them based on comfort, and preferably with high oxygen permeability. But I wanted to ask more opinions about which one of these should be better for me
